About the role
You’ll own meaningful slices of the Habbeat mobile app: onboarding, trackers, subscriptions, and health sync. We care about clean TypeScript, thoughtful UX, and shipping weekly — not endless rewrites.
What you’ll do
Build and ship features in React Native (Expo) for iOS and Android
Own reliability around health permissions, steps sync, and offline-friendly flows
Partner with design and product on interactions that feel fast and intentional
Improve release quality: crash rates, store compliance, and regression coverage
Review PRs and raise the bar for maintainable, readable code
What we’re looking for
4+ years building production mobile apps (React Native strongly preferred)
Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals
Experience shipping apps to App Store and Google Play
Comfortable debugging native modules, permissions, and performance issues
Clear written communication in a remote-friendly team
Nice to have
Expo Router / EAS experience
HealthKit or Health Connect integrations
In-app purchases / subscriptions (StoreKit or Play Billing)
